Packaging & Glass

The use of compressed air and Nitrogen in packaging applications is normally the second largest energy consumer on a production line.

Because our compressor systems are significantly more efficient that twin stage rotary screw compressors (which would normally be installed), we have an opportunity to help our customers reduce their overhead costs significantly.

Glass Bottle Forming

In glass bottle forming applications, the use of oil free compressed air is the second biggest energy consumer behind heat.

It is used to shape products in two stages, with air quality requirements normally specified as ISO 8573-1 2010 Oil free, Class 0 air, and supply pressures ranging from 3-8 BARg (40-115 PSI).

Plastic Packaging

In blow molding and blister packaging production, the use of oil free compressed air is normally the second biggest energy consumer behind heat

Typically ISO 8573-1 grade 2.2.1 or better air quality is specified, with supply pressures ranging from 5-7 BARg (70-100 PSI).

PET bottle blowing

Due to the higher pressures involved in PET bottle blowing, our solution for this application requires a pressure booster.

However, as most of the energy is consumed and heat generated in the first part of the compression, our solution can still save significant amounts of energy compared to more traditional compressors.
